I usually get their email newsletter, but nothing to promote Stout Month. Has anyone been there recently or heard of any special kegs they are going to tap?

STOUT MONTH Begins - Mountain Sun
Date(s): February 1st 2007
Time: 11:00 AM
STOUT MONTH: A Black, muddy river of stoutrageous ales from all over the sate of Colorado, Tiwist and shout beers you can chew on, three pints and your stout. Ten plus taps of texas tea. It's getting dark, too dark to see. I see a red ale and I want to paint it black. Stout at the devil, stout by the ton, does your favorite beer eclipse the sun? The stout of of our nation is black as can be. Fat, fluffy heads ride an ebony sea. So get stout and about, step stout of bounds, come inside and set up some rounds.
Now in its fourteenth year, Stout Month has become a most anticipated event among local beer connoisseurs. Ten of Mountain Sun's taps will fade to black with local, regional and national versions of the rich, thick and dark ale.
Featured Stouts include nitrogen poured Belgian Dip Chocolate Stout and Korova Cream Stout. On CO2, Mountain Sun will be offering perennial favorite Yonder Mountain Stout and the good ol’ classic Thunder Head Stout. Once again we will brew a batch of Cherry Dip Stout (Chocolate Stout with Sweet Cherry Puree). For this year’s event, Mountain Sun brewer Jason Stengl has developed his very first recipe; rumored to be a traditional Dry Irish Stout. Ultimately, Usurper Imperial Stout is sure to overwhelm your palate.
New this year, Mountain Sun is hosting it’s first ever Stout Homebrew Competition. Our panel of brewers will choose one lucky homebrewer to assist in brewing their own winning recipe on Mountain Sun’s 6 barrel system.
Guest stouts will include Shakespeare Stout from Oregon’s highly decorated Rogue Brewery, Imperial standby Old Rasputin from California’s North Coast Brewery, Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout from Anderson Valley, and DogFish Head Chicory Stout. Zonker Stout from Snake River Brewing in Jackson Hole, Wyoming will be returning for its 6th Stout Month appearance.
All the way from England, Young’s, Double Chocolate Stout will be tapped for the fourth year in a row.
Finishing out the list are some local favorites: Avery’s 2005 Czar and Pumphouse Backdraft Stout aged with sour cherries. This year, Oskar Blues has offered us some of their brand new “10 Fidy” Imperial Stout.
